Matthew Knowles, Director for East China of British Council and Consul (Culture and Education) of the British Consulate General in Shanghai and Zhang Jun, a well-known Chinese Kun opera actor took Shakespeare Culture Train in August.

Passengers took part in the prize-winning interaction “Play Your Part” through their mobile phones on the culture train. The event “Shakespeare in Metro” was hosted by British Council, Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (SPAFFC), Shanghai Shentong Metro Group and Shanghai Translators Association.
